Book Your Festive Event at MACq 01

Some of the year’s best stories begin with a gathering.

A team celebrating another milestone. Friends reconnecting over a shared table. Clients welcomed with great food and harbour views. The festive season creates countless reasons to come together, and MACq 01 Hotel offers the perfect place to make the most of them.

Set against Hobart’s working waterfront, our collection of event spaces pairs Tasmanian hospitality with memorable surroundings. Enjoy cocktails and conversation in The Story Bar, an intimate celebration in Evolve Spirits Bar, a festive feast in Old Wharf Restaurant, or a larger gathering in The Promenade Room overlooking the River Derwent.

The food is local, the atmosphere is warm, and the stories have a way of unfolding naturally.
